TEEN Summer Project -Lower Earley Mon 28th July - Fri 1st August
12:30pm - 4:30pm
Do you have a passion for drama and a desire to truly develop your acting skills? Our Teen Summer Theatre Project offers a focused, supportive, and incredibly rewarding week designed for students aged 12-18 who are serious about their craft and want to meet like-minded young people. This isn't just a summer project; it's an opportunity to dive deep into a play, building characters and strong ensemble work. From Monday, July 28th to Friday, August 1st, you'll rehearse intensely from 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM at The Salvation Army, Lower Earley RG6 5HZ. Under expert guidance, you'll refine your technique, explore complex scenes, and build the confidence that comes from mastering these skills. We create a nurturing environment where every voice is heard and every contribution valued, allowing you to grow comfortably at your own pace. This year's play, BULLY! by Kristen Doherty, consists of vignettes of short scenes and monologues written within the genre of Epic Theatre. Every scene is based on real life accounts and events; some funny, some challenging, some heartbreaking, but all real. Actors will play multiple roles. The week culminates in a powerful performance at The Alan Cornish Theatre, Woodley, on Saturday, August 2nd. We'll need you from 5:30 PM for a 7:00 PM showtime. This promises to be a truly memorable week, not just for the performance, but for the personal and artistic growth you'll experience. We can't wait to see you shine! Show tickets will go on sale at £8 per seat once the week is underway. The Early Bird price of £105 applies to bookings made and paid for by 30th June. On 1st July the price will revert to our standard price of £130. All bookings must be paid for by 18th July. I'm sorry, we can't accept childcare vouchers.
